RENDERING PLANT //DISPOSAL OF SLAUGHTER HOUSE WASTE

One of the important activities of DROB BOGS is rendering of third-category poultry raw material and the production of poultry meat meal, feather meal and fat. Utilised waste comes from current production in the slaughterhouse, integrated with the rendering plant. It contains 100% material coming from healthy chickens, approved by the Veterinary Sanitary Inspection for human consumption. Meat meal, feather meal and fat is used in the production of pet food (cats, dogs) and fur. We offer:

QUALITY STANDARDS // 3rd CATEGORY RAW MATERIAL MANAGEMENT

Each stage of the recycling process takes place in strict accordance with the standards and principles of HACCP quality control system. This ensures a constant and high-quality production. Utilisation installation and production processes meet the standards of national law and are in accordance with the Regulation of the European Parliament and Council No. 1069/2009 of 21 October 2009, specifying sanitary rules concerning animal by-products, which are not intended for human consumption. The rendering plant is under constant and close supervision of the veterinary services. Individual products are regularly tested for protein content and other chemical components by the Poviat Veterinary Inspectorate in Piotrków Trybunalski and the Voivodeship Veterinary Inspectorate in Łódź.

POULTRY MEAT MEAL, STABILIZED

We offer a continuous supply of high-protein meat meal, stabilized, made 100% from poultry material. It is in the form of loose powder, single, without charred particles and bodies of other origin than poultry material. It is stabilized by the addition of antioxidant – BHA, BHT, whose type and dose is appropriate for the products intended for the production of pet food. A typical meat meal is of light brown colour and of specific smell. It is packed in polypropylene bags, a big-bag type, with a capacity of about 1 tonne. Each portion of a manufactured product is separately marked and fully identifiable. Each delivery is accompanied by a Trade Identification Document.

FEATHER AND BLOOD MEALS AFTER HYDROLISIS

Feather and blood meal after hydrolysis is in the form of free-flowing powder without charred particles and bodies of other origin than poultry feathers and blood. It is characterized by a specific, gentle smell and dark-brown colour. It is packed in polypropylene bags, a big-bag type, with a capacity of about 1 tonne. Each portion of a manufactured product is separately marked and fully identifiable. Each delivery is accompanied by a Trade Identification Document.

POULTRY FAT

Poultry fat consists of 100% poultry material. It is in the form of liquid and has a specific smell and pale yellow colour. Each portion of fat is fully identifiable. It is stored in specially adapted containers and transported in special tanks designed for the transport of third-category liquid substances. Each delivery is accompanied by a Trade Identification Document.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION //RENDERING SERVICES

The rendering plant is one of the most modern in Europe. Thanks to an innovative solution, the heat generated during waste disposal is used for heating water and production halls in the slaughterhouse integrated with the plant. The utilisation installation is equipped with chemical deodorization system purifying smell. Thanks to this, the air technologically purified in an earlier process escapes into the atmosphere.

Thanks to rendering line, DROB-BOGS is one of a few fully environmentally-friendly poultry processing plants in Poland and Europe, which fully utilizes slaughter waste. High processing capacity of the plant also allows for the provision of third-category waste management services for local poultry slaughterhouses. Another element that protects the environment against industrial pollution is a high-performance biological treatment plant integrated with the poultry slaughterhouse.

SPECIALIST TRANSPORT SERVICES //FAT & MEAL

We have specialized means of transport and licenses to transport third-category category waste and raw material products. Meat and feather meal are transported in specially designed trucks with a capacity of 24 tonnes. Animal fat is transported in tanks with a capacity of up to 25 000 litres/22 tonnes.
